Itinerary

San Francisco

Passing by

Experience San Francisco through the eyes of someone who calls it home, where fog drifts across the bay, historic piers line the waterfront, and neighborhoods reflect Gold Rush ambition, maritime heritage, and cultural reinvention. This is a private City Unscripted experience shaped entirely around your interests and pace.

Before your day begins, you will receive a short online questionnaire so we can design a personalized route that reflects what excites you most, whether that includes local food culture, city history, scenic coastal walks, or hidden neighborhood stories. Here are some waterfront highlights that may be included in your tailored experience:
Pier 39

Passing by

Walk along this lively pier where California sea lions gather on floating docks, framed by views of Alcatraz and the bay. Your host explains how these animals became an unexpected local symbol and shares stories of the waterfront’s transformation over time.
Fisherman's Wharf

Passing by

Stroll through this historic waterfront district, where fishing boats, street performers, and historic ships reflect the city’s maritime roots. Your host connects its working harbor past with the neighborhood’s present-day character.
Musee Mecanique

Passing by

Step inside this vintage arcade museum filled with hand-carved mechanical games, penny arcades, and nostalgic curiosities. Your host shares how this remarkable collection preserves a playful and distinctive piece of San Francisco history
Ghirardelli Square

Passing by

Explore the exterior and public spaces of this former chocolate factory turned landmark square, known for its red brick architecture and sweeping bay views. Your host highlights how the area’s industrial heritage helped shape the waterfront’s identity.
