Day 1 · Arrival & Afternoon Game Drive

   Depart from Dar es Salaam after breakfast and drive to Mikumi National Park (approximately 5–6 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your tented camp followed by an afternoon game drive through the park.

   Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, and lions roaming the vast savannah. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and overnight rest surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2 · Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

   After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across Mikumi’s open plains and woodlands. The park is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and birdlife, you may spot lions hunting, elephants grazing, and hippos wallowing in the Mkata floodplain.

   Your driver-guide will prepare a picnic lunch in a scenic area before continuing the exploration. In the evening, return to camp for a bonfire, a hearty dinner, and relaxation.

   Excellent chance to spot the Big Four (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard)

   Birdwatching and photography opportunities

Day 3 · Morning Game Drive & Return to Dar es Salaam

   After breakfast, enjoy an optional early morning game drive to catch predators returning from the night’s hunt. Afterwards, begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the afternoon for your drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
