Ultimate Sólheimajökull Glacier Adventure with Zipline

About this activity

Embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery and excitement on Sólheimajökull Glacier, where you will experience the thrill of a zip line across the glacial landscape. Your adventure begins with a guided hike onto the glacier, where your crampons will grip the ice beneath your feet and each step will reveal the raw, untamed beauty of Iceland’s icy wilderness. As you walk, your expert guide will introduce you to the fascinating geology of the glacier and point out unique formations such as moulins and deep glacial crevasses.

The adventure continues as you head toward the zip line. Strapped into your harness, you’ll soar through the sky, gliding over the glacier and taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. For those who prefer, ’No-fly’ tickets allow you to remain on the glacier and enjoy the full tour experience while watching your family or friends take the zip line.

A private ice climbing session can be added to this tour upon request.
