In this alley, we will also stop in front of the Tapestry Museum, now closed until October 2027, so we will explain talk about the many events and characters surrounding the famous Battle of Hastings and the accession of William the Conqueror to the throne of England, illustrated on the famous 11th century embroidery. We will also talk about its historical importance, the methods of its fabrication together with more facts and figures.
