About this activity

Bonn is best explored through the eyes of locals. The stories that make this city special aren't the ones you'll find on a map. This tour reveals why Bonn holds a bigger place in German history than its "small Rhineland town" reputation lets on.

Experience Bonn the way locals actually see it, from Roman roots and archbishop drama, to Beethoven's complicated legacy and its years as West Germany's capital, discover the true essence of Bonn.

Starting at Martinsbrunnen, we'll show you both the proud, well-known side of the city and the overlooked history hiding just behind it. Beyond the main stops, explore all the facets of a city that's spent centuries quietly shaping Germany's story.

By the end, you'll understand this city better, loving it for what it is and appreciating just how much it's carried. Join us and fall in love with Bonn for yourself.
