Walk and Cook Budapest

About this activity

Get to know Hungarian history and culture and discover the connections between history and traditional food.

During our thematic tours we are exploring different periods of the hungarian history and discover the hungarian heritage on the streets of Budapest and in the kitchen.

Thanks to its central location, Hungarian history is so eventful. The territory of Hungary and the former Hungarian kingdom was visited by different peoples and occupied by foreign empires. These ethnic groups have left their mark and enriched the Hungarian culture and traditions. We can also discover these traces in the Hungarian cuisine.

You'll discover our traditions and learn historical tips about our unique cuisine
