About this activity

From lush tropical rainforest to dry, desert-like land, the Kohala coast has some of the most beautiful scenery on the Big Island.

High in the sky, see beautiful waterfalls cascading thousands of feet into the rainforest below, where remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visible. Named after the oldest volcanic mountain, the Kohala Mountains dominate the area and are considered by many to be the most spectacular landscape in Hawaii.
