Ushuaia Trekking on Vinciguerra Glacier and visit Tempanos lagoon

About this activity

We leave the hotel heading north through the upper part of the city towards the Andorra Valley, where the trail that will take us to the Vinciguerra Glacier begins.

Along the way we will enjoy a variety of landscapes such as peat bogs, lush forests of lenga trees and end in the high altitude valley of the Milk River, which is located in the vicinity of the glacier. Here you can take advantage of the wonderful views of the area, and if the weather is good we will take a short break. We continue along the side of the river and finally reach the Laguna de los Témpanos. Here we will continue bordering the lagoon until we reach the imposing Vinciguerra Glacier.

The landscape will reveal a mysterious world of crevasses and sinkholes that you will be able to immortalize in photographs. Once the experience is over, we resume our march, in this case descending towards the Andorra Valley, and then return with the transfer to the hotel.
