Often cited as "the 3rd most beautiful train station in the world", CFM train station is magnificent and beautiful. It's other claim to fame is having featured in Leonardo Dicaprio's "Blood Diamond".
Samora Machel Statue

This magnificent statue of Mozambique's beloved freedom fighter and first President stands in the center of Maputo's Independence square with a number of architectural giants surrounding the square, including the Maputo Cathedral, and Municipal Building.
Casa de Ferro (The Iron House)

Famous because many believe it was designed by Gustav Eiffel. It was actually designed by the Belguim Joseph Danly using the "Danly System" - one of the oldest prefab construction methods.
