Experience one of the most iconic stretches of the Colorado River as you float through Castle Valley, also known as the Fisher Towers section, just outside Moab, making it a perfect addition to any Moab visit. All outfitters in Moab operate on the same sections of the Colorado River, sometimes called Fisher Towers, Castle Valley, or the Moab Daily. While the names may vary, this honest review of the most iconic stretch of river is known for its towering red rock formations and wide open views. Meet us at 97 S. Main Street in downtown Moab, and you will head to the river. Once on the water, enjoy a mix of calm floating and seasonal splashy rapids as you take in the scenery. This section typically features Class I and II rapids, with occasional Class III rapids during higher water earlier in the season. With over 45 years of experience, our team delivers a smooth, well-run Colorado River experience. Your guide will handle the navigation while sharing insights into the geology, history, and landscape that make this area so unique. This trip is about 4.5 hours door-to-door with about 2.5 hours on the river.
