About this activity

We created this experience to be a very authentic day/morning in the life of a surfer. Not just a surf lesson. Guests and truly treated as family...Like going for a surf with your uncle Micah! All participants receive a comprehensive and thorough lesson and are immersed in an authentic experience that for some; create a new passion and way of life. We meet downtown, select the wetsuit that fits best, and the board you want to surf from a large selection of long boards, mid-length and foamies. (short boards are available for advanced surfers.) I hope you can join us for a truly authentic unforgettable day of surf and good vibes.

NOTE - As the group gets larger we break into smaller groups of 3 or 4ish per instructor. (everyday is different depending on the vibe of the group.)

Itinerary

Our Unique Experience offers 2 main Paths. 1-Meet us at the Surf break via your own transportation. We will gather your gear for you according to your surf style, experience and body type. ---Surf Break location will vary from day to day and will be provided during the confirmation call. 2-Meet at the Cave in Downtown Santa Barbara. With this option you get to try on different wetsuits, hand pick your own surfboard, and carpool or caravan to the surf break. This option is definitely more of a complete surf day experience. On our way back to downtown after surfing, we often will give our surfers a little tour of the town including a stop at a beautiful overlook.

Meeting point and pickup

You can be picked up from your accommodation or go straight to the meeting point.

There is parking on the street along Cota street and surrounding streets. Be very careful NOT to park on any blocks that are marked with a 90 minute sign. Coming from the Cota Street entrance, come up the stairs to the second floor and turn right. We are in the corner in suite 203.
