Itinerary

  1. Piazza Venezia

    Passing by

There is no way you can miss the imposing white marble monument dedicated to King Vittorio Emanuele II!

Nicknamed the “wedding cake”, the monument is one of the most recognizable buildings in Rome and the designated place for the eternal flame of the tomb of the unknown soldier.

  2. Piazza del Campidoglio

    25 min

A stop at the Capitoline Hill will provide one of the most spectacular views of the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Coliseum in the distance. This spot is one of the most picturesque in Rome, so be sure to have your camera ready!

    .

  3. Piazza Della Rotonda

    15 min Admission not included

One of the oldest and best-preserved ancient monuments built in 126 AD, it’s been in continuous use throughout history and converted into the church dedicated to Saint Mary and the Martyrs in the 7th century.

Some of history’s most distinguished figures are buried here: Kings Vittorio Emanuele II, Umberto I, Queen Margherita, and the celebrated artist Raphael. The oculus in the center of the coffered dome above provides light and ventilation, and when it rains the water drains below the floor through a drainage system.

Admittance is € 5 per person to be paid upon entrance.

  4. Spanish Steps

    15 min

Climb the 18th-century stairs to reach the French Church of Trinità dei Monti or hang out on the steps for some people-watch as the locals do.

An exquisite feature of the piazza at the foot of the stairs is the Fountain of the "Bracaccia" which, despite its name "old an ugly boat" is a beautiful fountain designed by Bernini's father.

  5. Trevi Fountain

    15 min

From La Dolce Vita to Three Coins In A Fountain, the Trevi Fountain has been featured in so many films that it’s one of the most distinguished fountains in Rome! No visit to Rome is complete without a visit to the Trevi Fountain.

People crowd around the gushing Baroque fountain and its nautical statues for the opportunity to throw a coin over their shoulder and wish for a return visit to Rome.

After it will be time for lunch!

  6. Piazza Navona

    15 min

Visit Piazza Navona in the heart of Rome where history, art, and lively atmosphere converge in a mesmerizing display. This iconic square, nestled in the city's historic center, enchants visitors with its stunning Baroque architecture, lively cafes, and bustling market stalls. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers, marvel at the grandeur of the Sant'Agnese in Agone church, and soak in the vibrant energy of street performers and local artists. Whether you're savoring a gelato while strolling along the cobblestone streets or simply basking in the timeless charm of Piazza Navona, you'll discover why this enchanting square is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking the true essence of Rome.

  7. Basilica Papale Di San Paolo Fuori le Mura

    30 min Admission not included

Amidst the ancient beauty of Rome, Saint Paul Outside the Walls Basilica stands as a majestic testament to faith and history. Its grandeur beckons visitors with open arms, inviting them to explore a world where art, spirituality, and awe-inspiring architecture converge. From the moment you step inside, you are embraced by a serene atmosphere that whispers tales of devotion, showcasing the splendor of mosaics, intricate details, and the hallowed ground that has witnessed centuries of pilgrimage.
