About this activity

Join us for an unforgettable 3-hour kayak tour in Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. Paddle past majestic mountains and lush green slopes while enjoying the fresh fjord air.

We make our way to Gjerdewaterfall, with its impressive streams of water cascading down the mountainside. In the distance you can see the other famous waterfalls, like "The Seven Sisters" and "The Suitor".

Start your journey at the activity center below the Grande Fjord Hotel with a brief introduction and instructions before you set out onto the crystal-clear waters of the fjord.

Your guide will share interesting stories and facts about the area and local traditions. Along the way, take breaks to capture photos and enjoy the stunning nature.

This tour is perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers, offering you a unique chance to experience Geirangerfjord from a different perspective.

This tour is NOT suitable for Ålesund cruise guests. Meeting point is 2 hours away.

During our kayaking trip you will have a chance to enjoy a view of Seven Sisters Waterfall

NB! The length of the tour (3 hours) does not allow us to paddle all the way to the waterfall.

If conditions allow us - we will try our best to get as close as possible.

It is important to note that the route of the trip can be changed in case of weather factor

Meeting point and pickup

You can be picked up from your accommodation or go straight to the meeting point.

There is a free shuttle service from Geiranger to Grande Fjord Hotel. Please inform us during booking if you need to use the transfer.

Meeting time for the shuttle is 20 minutes before the starting time of the trip at Ørneveien 7, located to the left of the fire station.
Meeting point is at our Adrenture Center in Grande Fjord Hotel.

If you do not have a car avalible, we offer a free shuttle from Geiranger. See meeting point 2.

There is a free shuttle service from Geiranger to Grande Fjord Hotel where the trip takes place. The transfer MUST be prebooked. Meeting time for the shuttle is 20 minutes before the starting time of the trip outside Ørneveien 7, located to the left of the fire station. Our shuttle is a black mini bus marked with Grande Fjord Hotel.
