Day 2 · Sasan Gir

Gir National Park

Rise before dawn for an early morning jeep safari into Gir National Park, guided by experienced naturalists. Traverse through the diverse ecosystems of the park, ranging from dry deciduous forests to grasslands, in search of the elusive Asiatic lions, the pride of Gir. Keep your binoculars handy to spot other inhabitants such as leopards, sambar deer, and chital, as well as a myriad of bird species.

After the exhilarating safari, return to your accommodation for a leisurely breakfast. Take some time to relax and unwind, soaking in the serenity of the natural surroundings. Alternatively, engage in optional activities such as nature walks or birdwatching to further explore the biodiversity of Gir.

In the late afternoon, embark on another thrilling jeep safari, venturing into different zones of the national park.
