Cozumel Downtown: Cozumel's downtown area is a lively hub filled with colorful streets, local shops, and a vibrant atmosphere. As you explore the downtown area, you'll encounter charming cafes, authentic Mexican restaurants, and bustling markets. The town square, known as the zócalo, is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike, offering a glimpse into the island's vibrant culture and community spirit.

Cozumel Malecón: The Cozumel Malecón is a picturesque waterfront promenade that stretches along the coast, offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. Lined with palm trees, benches, and inviting parks, the Malecón is a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. It's the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, soak in the breathtaking scenery, and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. Along the Malecón, you'll also find captivating monuments and sculptures that add an artistic touch to the coastal landscape, creating a truly memorable experience.

  2. Benito Juarez Park

    30 min

At the start of your journey is Benito Juarez Park. It's got narrow paths with lots of trees, so you can walk in the shade. And don't miss the Clock Tower nearby. Plus, there's that famous "Isla de Cozumel" sign where you can take stunning pictures with the beautiful Caribbean sea in the background.

  3. Cozumel

    30 min

The Monument of Two Cultures celebrates the fusion of diverse cultures in Mexico, symbolizing the start of this blend, known as miscegenation. Nearby stands the Monument of the First Spanish Captain, commemorating the discovery of the island in 1518. Additionally, you'll find the Monument of the Goddess Ixchel, a significant deity in Maya mythology. Ixchel is revered for her association with fertility, healing, and the moon, making the monument a tribute to her revered status in Mayan culture.

  4. Stop 4

    45 min Admission not included

A recreational park themed around Mayan culture and Mexican traditions, where you can taste emblematic flavors of Mexico such as handmade tortillas with Sikil Pak sauce (pumpkin seeds Mayan sauce), traditional chocolate-making, and the process of making tequila from harvesting the agave plant to the final bottled product, available in various presentations.

  5. Zona Arqueologica San Gervasio

    one hour Admission not included

The San Gervasio Ruins on Cozumel Island show what life was like for the Mayans long ago. Amongst lots of plants and trees, you'll find old buildings and temples they used for special ceremonies. It's like taking a trip back in time to learn about the Mayan culture and history.

  6. Playa Publica San Martin

    20 min

San Martin is one of the best places to capture stunning photographs of the island's untamed beauty. It offers a lesser-known beach with a long stretch of soft, white sand gently touched by the calm waves of the Caribbean. It's a peaceful spot where you can relax under the swaying palm trees, away from the busy city life, and snap some unforgettable pictures.
