About this activity

Experience Reykjavík’s magical evening glow on a 2.5-hour private ride with hotel or port pickup by your English-speaking driver. Begin at the softly lit Hallgrímskirkja Church, then continue to the illuminated Harpa Concert Hall and the poetic Sun Voyager sculpture by the waterfront. Drive through the peaceful Old Harbour and city center, where warm lights spill from cafés and galleries. Optionally, head to Grótta Lighthouse for starry skies or even the northern lights in season. Pass by Tjörnin Pond and City Hall, where reflections shimmer on the water, and finish with an optional stop at a local bar, brewery, or café. With a customizable route, this intimate evening tour combines iconic landmarks, coastal beauty, and Reykjavík’s after-dark charm—ideal for photography, relaxation, or simply soaking in the city’s quieter, atmospheric side.
