   Walk to the lookout over Millstream Falls, the widest single-drop waterfall in Australia, and watch the water spill across the river in one long curtain.

   Forty Mile Scrub National Park

   Watch the scenery change as you pass through Forty Mile Scrub National Park and into the open savannah country of the outback.

Day 2 · Talaroo Hot Springs, Einasleigh and Cobbold Gorge

   Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the historic Einasleigh Hotel, a classic outback pub in a tiny remote town.

   Copperfield Gorge

   Wander across the road from the pub to Copperfield Gorge and take in its rugged rocky walls.

   Forsayth

   Drop into the local pub in Forsayth, the end of the line for the Savannahlander outback train, before the last leg to Cobbold Gorge.

Cobbold Gorge Village (ensuite cabin)

Day 3 · Cobbold Gorge

   Glide silently through Cobbold Gorge on a guided boat cruise, between sandstone walls polished smooth over millions of years. Spot freshwater crocodiles and hear stories of Indigenous heritage, pioneers and life on Robin Hood Station.

   Enjoy free time at the village: cool off in the pool, explore the walking trails or add a helicopter flight, kayak or paddleboard (extra cost), then unwind by the campfire under the stars.

Cobbold Gorge Village (ensuite cabin)

Day 4 · Georgetown, Atherton Tablelands and back to Cairns

   Discover Georgetown's gold and gem mining past at the local information centre and see the impressive 858 g Providence Nugget up close.

   Enjoy a mix of Tablelands stops, which may include Innot Hot Springs, The Crater, Herberton Historic Village or chocolate and cheese tastings at Gallo Dairyland.

   Wind down the rainforest-covered Kuranda Range for your last views before arriving back in Cairns.
