The first day you will stand at Tyne Cot Military Cemetery, Passendale, Crest Farm, Essex Farm and at the Menin Gate.

The second day you will stand in the Tunnel at Vimy Ridge, near the Memorial, in Courcelette and Thiepval, at Lochnagar Crater and you will visit the battlefield at Beaumont Hamel.

  1. Tyne Cot Cemetery

    one hour

    Tyne Cot is the largest CWGC's cemetery, the memorial is bearing the names of 35 000 soldiers who have no known grave.

  2. Stop 2

    one hour

    Seeing the last strong point captured by the Canadian troops during the Battle of Passendale, you will stand near the newly build "Canada Gate"

  3. Passchendaele Museum

    one hour Admission included

    Spend some time in the very best WW1 museum.

  4. Stop 4

    one hour

    You will stand on Hill 62 where Canadian troops fought in 1916. See the PPCLI Memorial at Frezenberg where they suffered huge casualties at the spring of 1915.

  5. Essex Farm Cemetery

    15 min

    The place where John McRae wrote the poem "In Flanders Fields".

  6. Ypres Cloth Hall

    one hour

    You will see the Cloth Hall and some of the nicest buildings of Ypres.

    You will have some free time in town before attending the Last Post.

  7. Menin Gate Memorial

    one hour

    You will stand under the Menin Gate to attend the Last Post.

    After the service I will bring you back to your hotel.

  8. Canadian National Vimy Memorial

    3 hours

    Leaving your hotel towards Vimy Ridge, you will go in the trenches where Canadian and German troops stood the morning of 9 April 1917, go down in the Grange Tunnel and see the newly build visitor centre. You will go at the Memorial see the 11 000 names of Cnanadian soldiers who died in France and have no known grave. You will see the Douai Plain and the area held by the Germans.

  9. Courcelette Canadian Memorial

    You will see the Courcelette Memorial where Canadians fought at the fall of 1916.

  10. Lochnagar Crater

    30 min

    See the crater, it is the result of an underground explosion triggered on the morning of 1 July 1916.

  11. Memorial de Thiepval

    30 min Admission included

    Thiepval Memorial is the largest of the CWGC's memorials it is bearing the names 72 000 soldiers.

  12. Memorial Terre-neuvien De Beaumont-hamel

    one hour

    The place wher New Foundland soldiers were massacred. You will stand near the Caribu, seeing "Danger Tree" going rom the allied lines towards the German lines, passing near the Memorial to the 51st Highland Division.

    Going back towards your hotel.
