Spend three unhurried days inside Lake Malawi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with your own vehicle and a Malawian driver-guide who grew up here. Stay on the beach at Cape Maclear, walk through the fishing village with your guide, and spend a full day on the water: boat out to the islands, snorkel among hundreds of colourful cichlid fish found nowhere else on earth, watch African fish eagles dive, and cruise home at sunset. On your last morning, hike to the viewpoint above the bay before the drive back to Lilongwe. The tour is fully private, so the pace is yours.
