Climb onto the Mulanje Massif, the highest mountain in south-central Africa, with a local mountain guide and spend a night in a hut on the high plateau. Then head north to Liwonde National Park for game drives and a Shire River boat safari among elephant herds, hippos and crocodiles, and finish with snorkelling, island boat trips and sunsets at Cape Maclear on Lake Malawi, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
