Water has always been the real strength of this city. It is the x factor that gave power to this city and allowed it to grow, develop and renovate throughout the centuries.
In this 3 hour tour we are going to discover some of the Fountains that still receive water from the Roman Aqueducts. We are going to have a look at the story behind this magnificent fountains and the beautiful squares that welcome all of them.

This baroque-style fountain is located at the foot of the Spanish steps. It was built by Pietro Bernini with the help of his son Gian Lorenzo.

The biggest and most famous fountain of Rome. Trevi fountain was built to celebrate the restoration of an ancient roman aqueduct called Acqua Vergine (Vergin Water) which was built in 19BC. Needless to say it is truly worth a visit and don't forget to throw the coin in the right way...right hand over the left shoulder.

In 1651 Gian Lorenzo Bernini built this amazing fountain to support the 16 meters tall egyptian obelisk standing on top of it. The square (Piazza Navona) hides the Stadium of Domitian 5 meters below the ground.
