Take an all-inclusive three stop food tour that highlights New Orleans history through food. This 3 hour guided walking tour of the Garden District starts at the Lafayette Cemetery then explores the Garden District's historic mansions, colorful shotgun houses, and beautiful oaks. After a brief walk through the neighborhood, enjoy a full meal of signature New Orleans cuisine: po-boys, red beans & rice, jambalaya, beignets and gumbo, spread out over 3 local eateries. Taste the multicultural influences of Creoles, Cajuns & immigrants in signature dishes like po-boys, red beans and rice and beignets. Check out locally-owned shops & leave with a full stomach, plenty of stories and lots of recommendations for the rest of your visit! We are one of the few food tours that accommodate most allergies, even gluten-free and vegetarian. Kid-friendly: adventurous eaters of any age are welcome on the Garden District Food tour, but ages 5+ require a ticket.
