Taste your way through Cork with a local guide, from award-winning Irish cheese in the English Market to a whiskey finished in casks from the very building you drink it in. Over 3.5 hours you'll enjoy 6 tastings and 4 local drinks across the city centre, the old Huguenot Quarter and the far bank of the River Lee.

Start with a toasted sandwich and a cup of Cork tea in a family-run pub that has poured pints for two hundred years. Then head into the English Market, one of Europe's oldest covered markets, for local cheeses and a seafood platter fresh from the harbours. Warm up with seafood chowder, home-baked bread and a glass of stout, see how Cork's only chocolate factory makes its chocolate, and cross the Lee for your final pour.

    A green space on Grand Parade dating back to a 1980s regeneration, home to fragments of Cork's 13th-century city walls and the restored "Onion Seller" sculpture.

  2. Elizabeth Fort

    A 17th-century star-shaped fort off Barrack Street, built in 1601 and once serving as a barracks, a prison, and a Garda station, with ramparts offering sweeping views over Cork.

  3. The English Market

    One of Europe's oldest covered markets, trading continuously on this site since the 18th century and still home to the city's finest fishmongers, cheesemongers and butchers.

  4. Huguenot Cemetery

    A small burial ground tucked off Carey's Lane, marking the streets once settled by Huguenot refugees who fled France in the 1680s and helped shape this pocket of the city.
