Directly across Fifth Avenue stands the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship, whose holiday windows and annual light show are among the most elaborate retail displays in the world. The Channel Gardens promenade leads from Fifth Avenue toward the sunken plaza, framing sightlines that retailers and designers have used for decades to stage seasonal storytelling.
