Taking in some of the most stunning sights in the Red Centre over three days, this small group adventure presents a snapshot of some of the most beautiful places in the area, including Uluru, Kings Canyon, the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge and Kata Tjuta. Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park was added to the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 1987 after the international community recognized the park's spectacular geological formations, rare plants and animals, and outstanding natural beauty. You will discover incredible secrets of the Red Centre with commentary, stories, and hidden gems that will really put this place into perspective.

We provide two different sleeping arrangements at our exclusive private campsites, with twin shared safari tents, or a traditional swag experience. (canvas-covered bedroll)

Ziua 1 · Ayers Rock Airport/Yulara Resort to Uluru

Your unforgettable outback adventure begins here! After stepping on board at Ayres Rock Airport or Ayres Rock Resort in Yulara we will head straight into the National Park so please make sure you have had lunch before the tour begins. Step into the ancient lands of the Red Centre, rich in Aboriginal heritage.

Our first stop is the fascinating Cultural Centre, where you'll explore the stories and traditions of the region. Then, it's time to meet the star of the show – Uluru! We’ll walk around its base to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, marvel at sacred rock art, and delve into Dreamtime stories. We’ll also explore the stunning Kantju Gorge, home to Central Australia's tallest waterfall and a sacred elders' cave. To end the day, we’ll watch a spellbinding sunset at the Uluru lookout, followed by a hearty dinner to wrap up an unforgettable day.

Sunrise seekers, rise and shine! A pre-dawn wake-up call will be rewarded with an unforgettable experience as we begin the day before dawn to witness the stunning sunrise at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. After soaking in the first light over Uluru, we’ll continue our journey to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), a striking collection of dome-shaped rock formations that evoke a sense of otherworldliness. You’ll embark on either the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge walk, both offering spectacular views and ample opportunities for awe-inspiring moments.

Following our time at Kata Tjuta, we stop at camp for a bite to eat before making our way to the Kings Canyon region, we will make a brief stop at Mount Connor (often referred to as “False Uluru” due to its similar appearance), offering a scenic viewpoint. Arriving at our private camp in time to enjoy another breathtaking outback sunset. The day will conclude with a traditional campfire dinner, a truly authentic Australian outback experience.

Following an early start, prepare to be amazed by the dramatic 100-meter cliffs and sandstone formations that define this iconic landscape. The Rim Walk, renowned as the highlight of Watarrka National Park, offers truly breathtaking panoramic views. Your guide will provide fascinating insights into the canyon’s ancient geological history, its unique flora and fauna, and remarkable location.

On the return journey to Alice Springs, we will travel through the rugged Australian outback, either along the main highway or, conditions permitting via the scenic back roads. Arriving in Alice Springs around 6:00 pm. Enriched with new experiences, lasting memories, and the stories of the outback to share with others.

*Important Note for Travellers Returning to Ayers Rock/Yulara - Guests wishing to return to Ayers Rock / Yulara instead of Alice Springs, will require a transfer shuttle from Kings Canyon to Yulara. (Arrival approx. 4:30–5:00pm). Advised at the time of booking, subject availability.

Mandatory Details: Passenger information must be provided at booking: full name, date of birth, arrival/departure points, flight details (e.g., AYQ / QF728 12:35 on 01/04/23), and lead passenger’s phone number (Australian or international).

Dietary Requirements: Please advise dietary needs at booking. Due to remote travel, requests cannot be accommodated once the tour begins.

Medical Conditions: Notify the operator of any medical issues at booking. The tour requires moderate fitness and mobility. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Fitness Level: Walks range from 2–4 km daily, often over steep, rocky terrain in heat and humidity. One walk is approx. 9–11 km. A medium to high fitness level is essential. Participation is at the guide’s discretion. A doctor’s certificate is required for travellers over 75, submitted 30+ days before departure.

Age Restrictions: Children 8–17 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Not suitable for children under 8 due to safety and physical demands.

Mobility: Not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers or those using wheelchairs, walkers, prams, or strollers.

Baggage Limits:

Round-Trip Tours: 1 x 15 kg bag + 1 x 5 kg day bag.

One-Way Tours: 1 x 23 kg bag + 1 x 5 kg day bag.

Large suitcases should be stored at your hotel for round trips.

A minimum moderate to advanced level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 75 years (30 days prior to travel).
The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
Children aged between 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 7 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
Please advise at time of booking whether you require a hire of a sleeping bag?
Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.
