The Home Army Museum — named after General Emil "Nil" Fieldorf, deputy commander of the Home Army who was executed by the communist regime in 1953 — is the only institution in Poland dedicated entirely to the Polish Underground State and its armed resistance movement, the largest of its kind in occupied Europe.
