You'll uncover:
- The oath. A blindfold, a rope, a sword at the chest, and a promised gruesome death for anyone who talked. From the 1730 pamphlet.
- The cops. A murdered private investigator, a panel calling the Met "institutionally corrupt", and a High Court ruling this year.
- The symbols. Real ones, internet myths, and lodges hiding above ordinary pubs.
- The fraudsters. John Blunt, who sold Britain a dream in the South Sea Bubble, and the cashier who fled with the books.
Every claim is labelled documented, disputed or myth. You decide.
