This visit offers you a discovery of Gorée through the eyes of Bass, 29, born and having grown up on the island, where he still lives today. His knowledge of Gorée is deeply personal: he makes you discover its history, its culture, and its daily life with the anecdotes and stories of a true child of the island.
Bass is also one of the few guides in Gorée who is officially certified and approved by the Ministry of Tourism of Senegal, with an official and regulated professional card.
The visit is offered in French, English, or Wolof, to best suit each traveler. Passionate about teaching and particularly comfortable with children, Bass also adapts his explanations and pace to families and younger people, allowing them to discover Gorée in a fun and accessible way.
