Despre activitate
Step aboard a comfortable covered boat and let an experienced local skipper guide you through the enchanting waterways of Giethoorn. Along the way, hear fascinating stories, hidden gems, and authentic insights that only true Giethoorn locals can provide.
Sail past charming 18th- and 19th-century farmhouses with traditional thatched roofs. Surrounded by colorful gardens and crossed by wooden bridges, these picturesque homes are the heart of Giethoorn’s world-famous charm.
Glide beneath the village’s signature wooden arch bridges. With over 170 small bridges connecting Giethoorn’s islands, every turn offers a postcard-perfect moment. Experience the serenity of narrow canals where boats replace cars. This unique atmosphere has earned Giethoorn its nickname as the “Dutch Venice.”
After your cruise, take a seat our restaurant and enjoy traditional Dutch dishes. From relaxed lunches to memorable dinners by the water, Rietstulp completes your Giethoorn experience — on and off the canals.
