The journey ascends through dense, misty foliage before descending into the dramatic Valley of Desolation—an otherworldly landscape of steaming fumaroles, hot streams, and bubbling sulfur springs. Here, you'll experience the volcanic power firsthand as I demonstrate how to boil eggs in the scorching waters and offer a natural mineral clay mask. The climax is the breathtaking Boiling Lake, the world's second-largest, where a cauldron of gray-blue water churns with intense heat. On the return, we'll stop at natural hot springs for a soothing soak to ease muscles, completing an adventure that engages all senses.     Journey to the mountain community of Laudat and find Titou Gorge,a hidden aquatic paradise carved by nature. This breathtaking swimming hole, whose name means "little hole," is a world of serene emerald waters, towering mossy rocks, and dappled sunlight filtering through the rainforest canopy.

    Channel your inner adventurer in this iconic location, famously featured in Pirates of the Caribbean as the site of Captain Jack Sparrow's dramatic escape. Swim into the tranquil canyon, where the only sounds are birdsong and trickling water, leading you to a secluded oasis. For the bold, a small waterfall and natural rock crevices offer the perfect opportunity for an exhilarating jump.

    Whether you're gliding through the calm pools or leaping into the refreshing depths, Titou Gorge promises an unforgettable and beautiful escape in the heart of Dominica's mountains.

  • For cruise ship passengers, Ma boyds bar is a 2 minute walk away from the Woodbridge bay port in the direction of Roseau. I will be waiting outside the bar. Look out for a young man with long dreadlocks and a walking stick.

  • I will meet you at the Titou Gorge

    near the trailhead, standing next to my white subaru forester jeep. I have long dreadlocks so you can't miss me.
