Located on Xiaohong Hill, east of Square City in the Zhongshan Scenic Area of Nanjing's Xuanwu District, Meiling Palace is renowned as the "Premier Villa of the Far East".

The main building is a three-story, double-eaved mountain-style palace blending traditional Chinese architectural elements (e.g., green glazed tiles, upturned eaves) with Western modern techniques (e.g., arched windows, marble floors).
