Wander past the still-standing homes of four of Maryland's signers of the Declaration of Independence—more than any other city in America. These historic mansions, which once hosted Founding Fathers, feature ballrooms and formal gardens that set the stage for lavish social functions during the city's 18th-century Golden Age.
