Glacier Lagoon Packrafting Adventure

Dive into an authentic Alaskan wilderness expedition that combines scenic hiking, glacial exploration, and backcountry packrafting! Your journey begins with a stunning water taxi ride across Kachemak Bay (a $125 value, fully included in your booking), delivering us to the saddle trailhead. From there, we’ll gear up and embark on a rewarding hike through an ancient glacier drainage. Each guest will carry a lightweight, comfortable drybag (approx. 25 lbs) containing a state-of-the-art Alpaka packraft and top-tier safety gear. Upon arriving at the breathtaking Grewingk Glacier Lagoon, your certified local guides will lead a comprehensive dry-land orientation. We will cover raft inflation, gear familiarization, essential paddling techniques, water reading, and self-rescue skills to ensure everyone feels confident and secure before splashing in. Customize Your Adventure on the Water: The Stillwater Experience: Opt for a peaceful, awe-inspiring paddle across the calm glacial lagoon. Navigate gently around towering icebergs and take in unparalleled views of the glacier face.
