If you want we might buy a ticket and go to the top of the tower, from where we will observe all the old city part and new city as well. Be aware that tower has a narrow upstaits and no elavator of course))

Since 2000 year Old city of Baku, The Shirvansah Palace and The Maiden tower has entered into the list of world herritage of UNESCO. The Palce was built between 12 and 15 centuries, was damaged few times and last time resumed in 2004. The place where middle ages Shirvan state's kings were living with their servants. During the tour we do not go inside of the Palace, because the area is more than a hectare, need to spend at least an hour here extra.
