Rüstem Pasha Mosque is a historic Ottoman mosque in Istanbul, designed by the famous architect Mimar Sinan and completed around 1561. It was commissioned by Rüstem Pasha, Grand Vizier and son-in-law of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
The mosque is especially famous for its stunning collection of İznik tiles, featuring rich floral and geometric patterns. Built on a raised platform above shops, it offers a distinctive architectural setting in the heart of Istanbul’s historic Eminönü district.
