Along the way, take in mountain, forest and lake scenery while keeping watch for local wildlife. Your guide will share insights into the valley’s wildlife, history and geology throughout the journey.

    Take a short scenic walk along the shoreline of Medicine Lake and admire the surrounding subalpine forest and towering limestone cliffs. Learn about the fascinating natural processes behind this remarkable “disappearing lake” as your guide shares its natural and geological history.

  3. Maligne Lake

    Arrive at Maligne Lake and board a 90-minute scenic cruise across its glacial-blue waters, surrounded by towering peaks and pristine wilderness. Cruise to the iconic Spirit Island area and enjoy time ashore on the nearby viewpoint trail for one of the Canadian Rockies’ most famous views while learning about the lake’s human and geological history.

    Before or after the cruise, enjoy time at Maligne Lake to eat a packed lunch or purchase food at the café (additional cost) before returning to Jasper.
