Unlike large cooking schools, this experience takes place in our home and is intentionally small, personal, and interactive.

Chef Sergio is originally from Yucatán, one of Mexico's most celebrated culinary regions, and loves sharing family recipes, local traditions, and the cultural stories behind the food.
Many guests tell us that their favorite part isn't just the cooking, but the conversations, laughter, and genuine connection they experience throughout the evening.

Itinerar
Join Chef Sergio and Maria for an authentic Mexican cooking and cultural experience in their home in Querétaro. This is much more than a cooking class. Together, we'll prepare a variety of traditional Mexican dishes that may include Yucatecan specialties such as panuchos and papadzules, as well as aguachile, regional favorites, traditional sauces, and homemade desserts. Our menu changes based on the season, ingredient availability, and guest preferences whenever possible. This is a hands-on experience where guests actively participate in preparing and assembling the meal while learning traditional techniques and culinary traditions. Come hungry! We prepare generous portions and multiple dishes, so there is always plenty of food to enjoy. Throughout the evening, you'll discover Mexican culture, local traditions, and the stories behind many of the recipes we prepare. After cooking together, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy a homemade Mexican dinner, traditional beverages, and a memorable evening in a relaxed family atmosphere.

Beef tongue grind — It is prepared with a black mole brought from Oaxaca accompanied by a puree of sweet potato or white rice · Roast chicken panucho — It is an omelet filled with fried beans stuffed with black beans with a Yucatecan style roast chicken toping with annatto and orange · Guacamole — Traditional with avocado, handmade tortillas and tatemada sauce · Rice with milk — Creamy, with cinnamon and a hint of vanilla · Cochinite — Traditional with Yucatecan ingredients, soft, juicy and wood-fired for 12 hours.
