Constructed from gray andesite-like stone, it features nine stacked platforms six square, and three circulars crowned by a central dome. The temple is adorned with an astonishing 2,672 relief panels and originally housed 504 Buddha statues. As you explore its extensive system of stairways and corridors, you’ll encounter 1,460 narrative relief panels that depict the Buddha’s teachings and life
