The trek is moderately easy, spanning about 20 - 30 minutes, leading you to the heart of the valley. Here, you can immerse yourself in the warm, soothing waters of the hot springs, surrounded by stunning landscapes. Be sure to check the water's temperature before diving in for a comfortable, rejuvenating soak. This activity offers a perfect blend of relaxation and immersion in Iceland's scenic wonders.

   Our adventure continues as we venture off-road through the area's backroads. Driving in modified 4x4 vehicles across Icelandic rivers presents a thrilling way to engage with the country's rugged beauty. This part of the tour is an unforgettable adventure, showcasing Iceland's landscapes in an exhilarating, unique manner.

   The Hengill mountain area in Iceland, just a 20-minute drive from Reykjavik, is renowned for its geothermal activity. This "hot spot" boasts a breathtaking volcanic landscape, replete with hot springs and bubbling mud pools that vividly display the earth's dynamic energy. It is a haven for hikers and bikers, offering a network of trails that meander through colorful rhyolite mountains, steam vents, and the calming waters of natural geothermal rivers. The area, dotted with lava fields, is rich in geothermal activity, shaping its distinctive terrain and powering much of Iceland’s renewable energy. Hengill is a place where nature's raw beauty is both visible and palpable at every turn.

We will fire up the BBQ and offer Burgers or Icelandic Lamb for dinner. Vegan options available.
