The building was once used for boxing tournaments.
Today, it is serves as a market centre for meat, flowers, cultural jewellery and open restaurant 'kibanda' to enjoy a delicious meal.

This used to be the tallest building in the City.
It served as a warehouse used by coolies right next to the Uganda railway line.
It was repurposed to be a colonial Govt issuance centre of identity cards (kipande) to the natives who worked in Nairobi.

The library was funded by Lady Mcmillan in conjunction with the U.S Carnegie Foundation and opened in 1931, in honor of Lord William Northrop Mcmillan.

Kenyatta International Conference Center
