During Shilla dynasty, almost 1,500 years ago Buddhism was national religion and built Bulguksa Temple to make the "Buddhist country" with the best construction techniques.

Seokguram is an artificial stone cave built with a meticulous design to serve the Buddha in 8th century which was designated as UNESCO world heritage in 1995. Inside the cave, Beautiful main Buddha showing the essence of Silla Buddhist art is enshrined.

Woljeonggyo Bridge

Woljeong Bridge is originally wooden bridge made in Silla dynasty.
All restoration was completed in April 2018 by conducting a 10-year investigation, testimony, and restoration of what was lost and disappeared during the Joseon Dynasty.
Thanks to it's beautiful reproduction, now it became popular drama and movie filming location.

It can be guessed that Cheomseongdae was used to calculate the movement of the sky to determine the farming period and to predict the good and bad luck of the country.

Daereungwon is a large ancient tomb complex in the heart of Gyeongju. It contains more than 20 royal and aristocratic tombs from the Silla Dynasty, dating back over 1,500 years. The most famous tomb is Cheonmachong, which you can enter to see how a Silla royal tomb was constructed and learn about the treasures discovered inside.
