Despre activitate
Ease into Budapest with an authentic, flavor-packed journey through the iconic Central Market Hall. This tour blends local food with real stories and history. We begin with traditional sausages and salamis, uncovering how paprika shaped Hungarian cuisine. A welcome shot of pálinka warms things up before we sample pickles, regional cheeses, and sweet local pastries. We finish with a generous cured meat tasting. Through the tour, we walk across the Central Market Hall, learning about it's history, location and relevance to the city's history.
Along the way, you’ll meet longtime market vendors, hear how dishes evolved through war, communism, and tradition, and learn why food is still at the heart of Hungarian identity. It’s a relaxed, personal experience that connects you to the city through its most meaningful flavors.
