Despre activitate
This full-day tour covers Kamakura's landmarks with an English-speaking guide, meeting at Kamakura Station. Visit the Great Buddha at Kotoku-in Temple, an 11-meter bronze Buddha and National Treasure, then continue to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, Kamakura's main Shinto shrine, walking through grand torii gates and up stone steps overlooking the Dankazura approach.
Find a peaceful escape in the bamboo grove at Hokokuji Temple, with the option to enjoy matcha tea, before finishing on Komachi Street, a lively shopping lane of cafes and street food. All four core stops sit within 5km of central Kamakura, so the public-transport plan covers this walkable route.
The private-vehicle plan covers the same four sights and adds Enoshima Island, 15-20 minutes' drive away, where you can visit Enoshima Shrine and view island cliffs. This option is a paid upgrade, and the itinerary can be adjusted within the allotted time.
