Hike the Peaks of the Balkans with local English-speaking guides on a 9-day journey through Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro. Start and finish in Shkoder, cross Valbona Pass, summit Gjeravica and explore Hrid Lake and the dramatic Grebaja and Ropojana valleys. Travel in a small shared group of 6-14 hikers, with two nights in Shkoder hotels and six nights in mountain guesthouses. Scheduled transfers, meals during the trek, cross-border permits and daily luggage transport up to 15 kg are included. Six confirmed departures in 2027 make it easy to join other hikers. This demanding adventure suits fit travelers comfortable hiking 6-9 hours a day.

Itinerar
Join a 9-day guided hiking journey through Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, starting and finishing in Shkoder. Day 1: arrival, included hotel, welcome dinner and briefing. Day 2: transfer to Theth, hike over Valbona Pass and transfer from Rragam to Valbone. Day 3: hike to Cerem. Day 4: hike to Doberdol. Day 5: Gjeravica summit and descent to Gacafer. Day 6: Three Borders and Hrid Lake to Babino Polje. Day 7: transfer to Grebaja, Taljanka/Vallushnica hike and transfer to Vusanje. Day 8: 4x4 transfer into Ropojana Valley, hike via Qafa e Pejes to Theth, then transfer to Shkoder and included hotel. Day 9: departure from Shkoder, with no hiking or guide service. Daily luggage transport up to 15 kg is included. This demanding trek requires good fitness; hiking days typically last 6-9 hours. Routes may be adapted for weather and safety. Confirmed 2027 departures only: June 12, June 19, July 10, July 17, August 7 and September 4.
