   National Museum Of Egyptian Civilization NEMC

   Visit the National Museum of Civilization, NMEC. It’s a large museum (490,000 square meters), it displays a collection of 50,000 artifacts presenting Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present day. It exhibits several objects intended to educate the visitor about the Egyptian Civilization across various key historical phases, starting with Predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods and continuing across the Graeco- Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and contemporary modern times. NMEC is located in the heart of Al-Fustat, the ancient Islamic capital of Egypt, and surrounded by several religious complexes.

The Baron Palace is inspired by the historic mansion of Indian architecture built by the Belgian millionaire Baron Edward Empain (September 20, 1852-July 22 1929). Memphis is the ancient capital of Egypt founded by King Menes, known as King Narmer, the founder of the first dynasty 3300B.C.
