Itinerar
Your starting point is the Theatre Royal on Saw Close in central Bath. Open the Explorial app, enter your 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, select English, and tap Start. The trail takes you through Bath's UNESCO-listed Georgian centre. The Roman Baths — the preserved complex built around a natural hot spring — feature early with a riddle asking you to look at the Bath stone architecture rather than the entrance queue. The Jane Austen Centre, in the terrace where Austen lived during her Bath years, brings a photo challenge with the Regency streetscape as a backdrop. The Royal Crescent, the sweeping arc of 30 townhouses overlooking a broad lawn, features in an observation task that rewards looking at the details across the full curve. Bath's compact centre keeps the distances short. Competing on photo challenges around one of England's most elegant streetscapes brings out more creativity than people expect. The app reveals final scores and a ranking when the last task is done. Bath has been receiving visitors since the Romans built the baths; this trail gives you a few hours with the whole story.
