Despre activitate
Belo Horizonte was designed from scratch in 1897 — and the grid still holds more surprises than most people realise.
This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through BH's cultural heart on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.
- Follow clues to the Edifício Niemeyer, Palácio da Liberdade, and Alameda Travessia — three landmarks that trace the city's journey from Beaux-Arts grandeur to modernist icon
- Start whenever suits you and move entirely at your own pace — no time limit, no pressure
- Perfect for families, friend groups, and curious travellers; photo challenges add a fun competitive edge
Available in 24 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian — see the full list when booking and choose yours when you start the game in the app.
Around 2 hours - any group size.
BH was built to be Brazil's perfect city — it just forgot to stop surprising people.

Itinerar
Starting at Alameda Travessia - Savassi, enter your 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message into the free Explorial app and set off on a self-guided trail through Belo Horizonte's cultural heart. At the Edifício Niemeyer, crack the puzzle behind this 1954 Oscar Niemeyer masterpiece — the curved building that anchored BH's reputation as a city of modern architecture. From there the trail winds to the Palácio da Liberdade, the stately former seat of government set in a manicured park, where you'll learn about the movements that shaped the state of Minas Gerais. The route finishes at Alameda Travessia in the Praça da Liberdade complex, a tree-lined boulevard that brings together museums, cultural centres, and the energy of one of Brazil's busiest public spaces. The whole experience takes around two hours — start whenever you like and move entirely at your own pace.
