Spotting wild animals is very difficult and unlikely as the Taiga forest is very wide and dense. This tour then gives you the opportunity to see most of the animals of the Arctic and other cold regions, and learn more about them.
The Ranua Zoo is also part of different European programs of protection, and offers a recovery place for some injured animals.
Buffet lunch in the restaurant is also included in the tour.

Located one hour away from Rovaniemi, the Ranua Wildlife Park is the northernmost wildlife park in the world. It consists of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals. In the park, it is possible to see polar bears, brown bears, wild reindeer, wolves, wolverines, lynxes, predatory birds, otters, wild boars, and many others.
The park is Lapland’s leading tourist attraction for families, groups with children and animal-lovers all year round. The park is also part of different European programs for the protection of endangered species.
This trip departs from Rovaniemi where your guide will pick you up at your hotel. They will then drive you to Ranua wildlife park, and will accompany you along the 2.5km gentle walk that takes you from one animal habitat to another. Information about each animal will be provided by your guide and the different information boards.
After the visit of the park, you will enjoy a tasty buffet lunch in the restaurant and drive back to Rovaniemi.
