Despre activitate
Our visit to the Mosque-Cathedral is a perfect first contact with the city of Córdoba. In a chronological tour of the interior of the Temple, we will reveal the most important aspects of its history, and of the city that welcomes it.
We will discover the successive extensions and changes that take place in it, which lead us to be able to enjoy one of the most important buildings in the history of Europe.
The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is the result of its history. Exciting and unique. Umayyad splendor and treasure / relic of Christianity. Temple where people from Cordoba of both confessions have found refuge. Example of the preconceived as impossible, materialized in art.
When the Christians arrived, a new use for the Temple began. From Aljama Mosque to Cathedral. A new look, a new use and great projects such as the cathedral transept and the continuous contributions of the best European artists, will create a new place on the old Temple with an indelible legacy.
