Another stop is this beautiful parade ground where all the main royal events take place in London. Officially the gateway to the royal palaces, it’s surrounded by classic architecture from the Georgian and Victorian period, containing many government buildings.

A drive down this historic avenue is like a trip though British history. We pass many beautiful Government buildings, including Downing Steet, the London residence of the British Prime Minister. The very centre of London and some say its beating heart. Dominated by the imposing statue of Admiral Nelson, one of our greatest historical figures, and the impressive architecture of the National Gallery. Built by the eminent architect Sir Christopher Wren after the previous church burnt down in the Great Fire of London), we stop here to get out the cab for photos.
